Perception

Perception can be defined as way of viewing, insight or intuition, ability to perceive. Perception in each and everybody differs, the way we see things that occur to us differ and the way we see things affect our mind state and actions.
Perception affects every aspect of our life, the way we see different events that occur in our lives affect the way we react to them and thus affects our standings in life.
Using failure as an example, some people would see failure as a challenge, as something that is a test of their plans, activities, a reason to re-plan and work harder, while some would see failure as a reason to leave, to stop, a determiner of the impossible and a confirmation of them not being able to accomplish.
The first would form a better plan and make adjustments to the mistakes committed earlier, while the latter would be bitter and would have to start all over again. The difference between them both is their perception, the way they accepted failure and this affected their next action and their nearest future.
Perception is an important factor that matters in our life, whenever anything happens or we feel anything lets think within ourselves, is what am thinking right? Am i to gain anything from my planned actions? What am i gonna lose? And what are the other ways i can go about the matter? Doing the above would safe-guard against being too over-reactive, acting out of other and adjusting ones thought to the right things.

Patience, perseverance and persistence.

Patience is the ability to stay calm and endure something very annoying, perseverance is the ability to continue to achieve something or a goal despite difficulties, persistence is the ability to continue to do something to achieve a goal despite people's opinion of being foolish or annoying.
These three qualities are whats very necessary to succeed against all odds, a friend of mine on facebook said, " I wonder if I was Abraham Lincon, would I have continued trying after much effort and less result". Many would have stopped trying after the third attempt.
Nothing in life is consistent, some people would achieve their set goals on first trial, while some would have to try and keep trying, but what distinguishes successful people from those that aren' t is the ability to conceive a dream or goal or something they wish and try their possible best to achieve the goal or dream.
These three qualities patience, perseverance and persitence are very neccessary to live a life of achievements, cause with them failure wont be a setback, it would be a reason to replan and make a much more fool proof plan.
